What's wrong with me?

Can anyone help me please? I dunno, but I've been thinking of weird and scary things lately. Whenever I watch movies that have coffins in them, I suddenly imagine myself in it! Ugh!! It's not just that, I also can't sleep at night because I am afraid that something might happen to me or my family.

There are lots of other weird things that I am experiencing, but I don't remember some of them now. What do you think is wrong with me?

If it is just not a frequent experience, everything will be fine.
Those are natural at some ages of life...
Just do the usual things, forget about what you saw in movies, try to relax and reduce stress and get a good sleep.
Most of the times, they will just go away and just happening either because you have stress or have to think a lot that you are in fatigue and your mind keep wandering triggering lower immunity.

If it persist for longer term you may have to consult with a specialist and see if you have anxiety disorder or something more serious
I ahve written a paper which I have also posted on my blog in series.
    You may have agoraphobia: http://www.kmkblog.com/2008/03/26/is-phobia-an-anxiety-disorder-part-ii-agoraphobia/

I had same times for a while.
It is mostly because of sleep and working over night.
You cannot exchange day for night, and also you will see, it would gone by itself :)
You must understand that is a just some phases of your life and it must happen to anyone.
So don't be frighten and get some sleep, but really.

Are you under a lot of stress right now?

You really should try to talk to someone about this -

If you talk to someone who specializes in this you will feel so much better, you'll realize that this happens to a lot of people and a specialist can help you work through it.

I'm not under a lot of stress, I'm actually on a vacation (school break). In fact, I'm enjoying life... But when the night comes, weird stuff suddenly pop into my mind. I dunno, should I tell my parents about this?

There is nothing wrong with you. your imagination is running wild because you're having too much time on your hands.
Idle mind is devil's workshop. Engage yourself in some fun activity or get busy doing something [not watching tv]

I have had moments like this in my life, and don't worry it will pass. The more you wory about it the worse you will get, I know this from experience.

Talking about it may help to. So why not sit down and have a chat with someone, if you don't feel comfortable talking to your parents about it talk to a close friend instead. You know what they say "a problem shared is a problem halved" that saying doesn't exist for no reason.

I also agree with everyone else when they say don't watch too many horror movies. I don't know how old you are but when I was a kid (which wasn't too long ago) I was outside all day hanging around with my mates. Plenty of fresh air will help you get to sleep at night.

I would just like to add that what you are feeling is normal, and probably most people will feel similar things to a certain degree at some point in their lives. You are not alone so go speak to someone.

Believe me on my words. Comedy helps in the best way man, you wouldn't belive how much it helps ... Also, find some sitcoms (animated and also real) Family Guy, The Simpsons, South Park, American Dad, According to Jim, Everybody loves Raimond, King of the Queens, etc ....
You can watch them on fox.com and hulu.com and southparkstudios.com
It would be ok and last thing, but not less important: Find some crazy girl and everything gonna be okay.
