    I'm sure I read it somewhere before, probably in the policies (which you should read, I cbf), that you can display it on Forums just not on pages like the registration/login and possible also search.

    Read it though to be certain...

    i heard in some countries you can get 50 smacks with a wet noodle,other then that yes you can.

    Yeah! it's truly legal to do it :) but i m always afraid to use Adsense in forums because of fraud clicks

    but If you read their terms and conditions ;) it says you cannot have ads in non-content pages. The overall header and footer display on every page, such as the memberlist, the login page, the registration and the 'you have posted, you will be redirected' type pages. They are all non content.

    The extremes of the page you can get the ads is the top and bottom of the *body files (index_body, viewtopic_body and viewforum_body).

    Google can and will close accounts with ads in the header and footer. You won't be able to have whatever money is still in the account if they do.
