you can still get pluggins that make XP look like vista i like XP more because, i read alot of bad reviews on vista when it came out and just didnt bother to update.
I used to have xp then turned to vista then downgraded to xp as vista would not let me install different drives/software etc.
Don't just believe what you read around. Try it yourself and come to conclusion. But, wait, you need computer of generation z, don't except to have a "great performance" on 1GB RAM. SP1 has improved it a lot. I think, the next update will sort everything. Moreover, it’s so much secured; I doubt there's any other OS that can beat it. (Slight edit: don't yell Mac! because I'm talking about security when there's a threat, boowhoo). It's pretty funny, when XP was released; it had lots of bugs, too! All these Vista bashing sounds like you're being in the Microsoft Bash wagon.
I am using XP on my desktop and Vista on my laptop which comes with my laptop. Using Vista since last one year without having any problem. Just use more RAM like 2 or 3 GB for working vista smoothly IMO. DON.
i think xp will fit you more sometimes ,when people buy a new computer Vista will be already loaded on it ,micsoft is not good .liunx spirit is not here today

i dont see much difference actually, the only reason i use XP is that i want faster OS, b/c i have a laptop and theyre kinda slower than desktops. It is only about speed man, and maybe some old software doesn't work with vista, but it's pretty rare.
