I heard the same arguments made when Ronald Reagan ran for President. What would the US do with 500,000 draftees? We don't even have the bases and people to train them.

I've become used to pointing out foolishness on your part. It's less of a slam dunk and more of a public service announcement.

democrats will push it any way they can and he does not see the draft as a negative at all and he probably going to be a one term president and the maverick in him will try ro do the right thing just like immigration. i can almost hear him "my friends the country needs .... and i am going to sign this bill for the good of the country"

You need a rocket scientist and four accountants to figure the race between those 2

You could try reading "The Road to Serfdom". If you need a version with pictures, let me know. :)

History and people do to context what Britney Spears does to children.

I meant, taking people out of context and twisting them. Just like she's twisting the minds of the children. And like what the media loves to do to Ron Paul when they even decide to mention him during the near total blackout.

History also pulls a Michael Jackson on many people in regard to what they say. History can be a day, a week, a year, a decade, a century, a millennium, or more. Just look at the Roman Empire and Republic's historians, who changed facts and ruined reputations by taking things out of context.

It is one of the most aggravating things in the world - because context means everything. Otherwise sound bites, word bytes, and a whole host of other short blips mean nothing.

What am I saying? Never take anything or anyone out of context. If I said "I hate the cheese called jalapeños surprise because it isn't anything but total mouth destroying hotness and taste bud obliterating evil" That could be taken out of context as "I hate the cheese" - thus ruining the specifics, and making me look like a cheese hater - when in fact I love cheeses. Just not that particular one that is basically a nuclear bomb on my taste buds. "I hate chocolate covered cherries" can be manipulated to "I hate chocolate" which is an abomination and falsehood.

So... don't take anything out of context.

'kay, my "context" was in context to a quote on context Guerilla made in another thread, which requires you to understand the context of that thread to get the context of the "context" quote in this thread.

Or, Guerilla simply tried to hook Will into something, Will slammed that shut, and Guerilla fell on his face. That in context enough?:p

If just one year ago, you told me that I would be supporting Hillary Clinton, I would have called you a mad fool.

I just couldn't imagine that, after their last debacle of nominating a traitor, the Democratic Party would consider nominating "None of the above" for the most important job on Earth.

How right you are. The more people they get dependent on the system, the more new votes they can generate.
