There's many SEO's who work "in house" at major companies you never hear about who really know their stuff. People like Tanya Vaughan the Global SEO Manager for Hewlett-Packard for instance, doesn't even have an SEO website. You only hear about the ones who pimp their name, there's a big difference between the most well known SEO's and the best SEO's.
