...if youre gonna set up a blog that is hosted and you're gonna order a premium wordpress theme? how would it cost all in all?
There are a lot of variables to consider. Using me as an example. I have 3 blogs with premium themes. I paid $80 each for two of them, and $50 for the other. The domains, I registered new. $8-$10 a year. (Plus a few additional extensions of each)) Hosting cost me $40 a month. ( I have 10 sites in all, and a crap load of domains) So for one...bare bones...$10 for the domain, $79 for a good theme, and hosting, which is cheaper than what I pay, maybe $10 a month. You can be out of the door and set up for around $100, self hosted, new domain, premium theme.
I premium WordPress theme, designed and coded from scratch, is going to cost you between $150-200 depending on the complexity. I can recommend you an awesome design company if you're interested - PM me.
Here is a nice one I found that is highly customizable for around that price: wpremix Or check here: http://premiumthemes.net/
Domain name registration: $9.99 / year (Godaddy) Hosting: $4.95 (1 domain name) or $7.95 (unlimited domain names) / month (Hostgator) Wordpress premium theme: $50
I would say you pay around $10 for the domain (for a year), like $5-$10 for self hosting (a month) and honestly, I wouldn't go with a premium theme for the first couple months. Just get a free theme that you like and use that in the meantime... it works just as good, just customize your header so that stands out and catches peoples attention. If you do that, you'll save like $50-$100...
