Okay in November 2007 I requested a refund because I shut my site down I waited....and waited....and waited some more So after 16 days of emails I was asked for my bank details so that they could deposit. They apparently had a problem with the refund and it took them until today 21st April 2008!!! to refund me, so they just put the money back into my AdWords account, to which the ads started running and 50 dollars was spent on advertising a site that didn't work, I was left with $3.86 Damn you adwords
If you shut down your site. Then its your responsibility to pause your campaigns. I'm suprised they even gave you a refund.
Google is a big company. Big companies are slow. That's just how it is. And yeah, I think you were lucky to get a refund at all too. Just take it and be happy.
no, I shut my site down, I had 20 dollars left on my account so I requested refund of credits, and then when even though I had paused it before, it went back into the acccount and restarted
