OMG, my site ranked #2 in Google Blog search after 2 hours!

I wonder where the visitors coming from and when I checked my stat, it's from the google blog search using a very searchable keyword "wordpress theme".

This is fastest indexing I ever experienced with such keyword with hundreds of thousands of competitors... I am expecting my page at least on top 10 on google in the next 24 hours!

One thing I am very sure why this happens... Keyword Density...

 

Blog search and regular search are very different things. If it's a new blog I doubt you'll be in the top 10 any time soon.

 

I'm already in top 10 and even top 2 in some keywords in google search. This is not a new blog anyway...

 

Can anyone point me to a great BASIC BLOGGING thread in here?

I think you have a very unique content on your blog but don't be happy this is just bonus for your new blog a few days later it will probably disappear from top 10.

 

You mean step-by-step process? It's like writing a diary...

 

Yes, I know that..but as long as I continue posting fresh content with highly optimized messages, I could increase my position... I am already stable in top 5 with some keywords..

 

I suppose I was more looking for info on how to get my blogs
"found" by the engines.

I know a bit about Pingomatic but that's really where my
knowledge ends.

I do not use any software..all by dedication and hard work...and I don't even have no idea what pingomatic is

 

Google love New Content, and give a New Content Boost to new sites or new pages which makes them rank high up in search results.

But after few days, these sites or pages drop in search results ranking. I hope your site stay there for a long time

That's actually slow, if i do a blog post it normally takes 5 minutes at most to get to #1 in blog search then appears in search engines after about 10 minutes.

This is really amazing, I heard that we can get good ranking in yahoo if the keyword density is good but google generally looks for backlinks. Anyways congrats...

OR, barring that, VERY authoritative backlinks.

You don't have to know about Pingomatic if you are using Wordpress.
By default wordpress pings to pingomatic and that helps to get listed in many blog search engines.

 

I think may be u don't care about keyword density for the particular page, and may be repeating the same word again and again.
