I want to start my own directory host like you. But I don't know how to design a website. If someone know about any site that provides free directory website, kind reply in this forum.
phpld version 2 is free. There is another free script called site sift. Try those two You can also try some of the free templates for these directories.
As Jiten stated, phpLD offers a free version of their script. You can also find lots of free to use templates from places such as phpLD Templates or just run a search in Google.

Version 3 of phpld is better, when you decide to invest and to make something serious out of your directory. Also they have great support in the supporters forum and a alot of templatest for version 3 you can try. Good luck in choosing the right one.
I think kopili is talking about the design side, probably a fully fonctional free directory. Am i right?
Start out the free version of phpld (v 2) and once you get your feet wet with running a directory you may decide to purchase the latest phpld version 3.2. Are you familiar with editing .tpl files?
eh? what do you mean? free hosting, free script and free installation? and kopili just takes over and be the admin? or something like blogspot where a user immediately gets a free blog?
I'll wait until the OP makes it a little clearer on what he wants before suggesting phpLynx's free version which has what we all know (but don't like to admit) to have more features out of the box than any other directory script out there in its class. Edit: To the anonymous poster who gave the red with the message.. No, I won't shut up, I have as much right to promote a script as any one of you here, and have the guts to post your name. ointsupwards:
Jealousy perhaps. Let's not get into a what can do what situation here daboss, yours won't win for cert. The key to it is for the OP to get honest and true information that will help him or her start of on the right track. Note: All free scripts are good script if they are free, because you lose nothing if you try them except a little time finding out if they are any good or not.
i don't think so... it is probably a good script... but there must be a reason why people don't say it...
Is that right. Perhaps its because the many thousands that now use it don't feel the need to come onto forums like this and put themselves under the scrutiny of being associated wrongly or rightly with a bad neighbourhood. I'd happily compare our script with yours if you wish, lets see what the FACTS say shall we. Punching above your weight aren't we.
I am working with this directory "http://v2.borolook.com" for giveaway. Visitors page has completed... just admin page is left. Wait 2 days; you can download it from "http://borolook.com/tools.asp". One full made directory website with Access database is already for free downloading. This is new V2 with more features and good layout. As for test, you can post to see whole the functionalities. You'll also get a verification email with a link if you post here. But, this v2.borolook.com is stay until I complete the whole project.
