Just wanted to share my joy...
One of my sites finally got #1 in Yahoo and somewhere in top5 in Google for some targetted keywords...

Result: jump from ~600 visits / day to an astonishing 5000 visits yesterday.
The niche is pretty low-paying, but I still managed to cash in 10$ yesterday, and another 4$ today, with more than half a day ahead...

So I just wanted to let people know that with some good planning, a little time investment - it can be done

P.S. 55% traffic from G and 39% from Yahoo... Yahoo is still pretty important

It is often possible to moderately increase the earnings (eCPM) by doing some legitimate keyword stuffing.. if you have already implemented ways to increase the CTR..

And with 5000 Uniques, you can certainly add a couple dollars or more from CPM ads like casale

I'm not happy because of the money, I'm a web developer, so I earn that in less than an hour, i'm just happy about being #1 and seeing such a huge traffic I've never had more than 1.5k on any of my sites, so now seeing 5k is awesome

 

Maybe your visitors aren't targeted enough, maybe you should target you visitors more so they are willing to spend money e.g. buy "keyword", where you replace keyword with your chosen keyword.
do you understand? The conversion will be higher + higher payout

 

What niche is it? porn?

 

For one of my sites, I am only getting traffic from yahoo, No traffic from google. Yahoo is important for me
