lol $8k a year expensive for a lambo? it's going to cost $7k per year for me for a crappy ford fiesta lol I hate being 17!
Boys and there toys, Such a waste and sad when people in this biz make a few bucks go blow it on something that really has no value in the years to come. Dp Members Be Smart and learn as much as you can. Nice car but no place To park bit sad. or even more embarassing asking the person next to you to lend a few bucks so you can buy some gas. Reminds me of the days when these car places would sell cars to kids knowing full well the car would be coming back to them Be smart but funds into what you do best will give you some sort of return. Please note this just my opinion and is not implying any disrespect to the person who has made this post, but a Observation as a hole.
I don't know how much I pay for year of insurance but i think it is like $1200 and that is expensive. Mine ain't full coverage either. I may get that full coverage though soon. I'm about to drop the insurance on my car which ain't worth as much as the deductible for full coverage and put that coverage on my truck since it will be back on the road around mid week.
$1200 is expsensive I paid more than that for my old 87 v6 Camaro and I never had a ticket, however I am 17. But I'm also in Canada, so it all vary's
I'm 23 so I don't get the discount of 25 or above yet. I got around 2 accidents they can hold against me as well. My insurance will go down when I switch it back over to my truck tomorrow. My truck has air bags and ABS where as the car does not and you get discounts for air bags and ABS. I also have a Class A CDL so that may raise my rates as well though I would think it would lower them.
You're 50% right. It's good sometimes that your work is rewarded and in this case this is the reward. This will inspire him to work more. I mean when we work we have a goal. Vick completed 1 goal in this case This is my opinion. Thank You ArLinD
These type of cars are bought out of pure emotion, not economics The value is in turning off the stereo, pulling down your windows and just listening to the sound of that thing when it accelerates.. If it is one thing the italians always have done and keep doing best its the sound of the cars, just head to Youtube and listen If you worry about insurance costs, here are some other things for you to consider before buying a sports car: -Tires. You will need to change pretty often (like once a year or once every second year) if you drive fast and hard since they are low profile thin ones and also a pair of 265+ sports tires are a lot more expensive than standard ones, expect $2000 or more per change for good ones) -Service. Servicing a sports car (incl a Porsche) could set you back around $6-$7000). My friend just serviced his Porsche 997 for €4800. Ouch.. -Other expenses like a clutch change could run you $10000, some italian sports cars (not the lambo from what I know) are notorious for clutch wear -Small things to fix. Remember for example having the parking brake adjusted at $1000 once and the air conditioning at $2000. Leather reconditioning.. mmm...$$ Price examples above are $ conversions of my experience here in Europe. So... Economical: Oh no. Fun and something you will remember for the rest of your life: Oh yes.
I won't argue against Italian cars sounding good but I like the sound of American Muscle better myself.
That is one sick ride. Did you pay with money earned with your sites or you have a really good paying job?
Wow, very nice car. I wish I have money that much. But I won't buy expensive car like that, I will start to build more new companies.
Back to insurance. I put the truck back on insurance today and did full coverage. Basically for 1 year of full coverage i am looking at $2166 or so. That is cheap insurance for me to. I go through USAA which you can only get if you were in the military or you are family of someone who was in the military. I happened to be both but that is neither here nor there.
