Congressman Paul Broun from Georgia wants to stop the sale of Playboy and Penthouse at bases around the world. http://www.newsweek.com/id/134035?GT1=43002 As if it is not enough that while serving in war you can't drink a beer, now we have a Congressman who wants to eliminate soft porn. If you are going to send our military men and women into harms way for over a year at least let them stop off at the PX and pick up a few magazines on the way.
Next thing you know this politician is going to get busted with 3 hookers, one of them a tranny, and a hidden stash of snuff porn. Someone should slap this fool for wasting his time on such moronic ideas.
What is worse not letting them read playboy or sending them out to iraq and putting their lives in danger over this lie of a war?
The argument the congressman is making is, "that consuming even soft pornography makes men more prone to committing sex crimes." I don't believe that. If looking at Playboy makes a man want to rape, then watching a scary movie makes you want to kill people. It just doesn't seem logical. Anyway, in the article, it explains that the congressmen may actually be doing this now, just to try to gain more republican votes, which is probably true. Wouldn't it be funny if he were involved in our next sex scandal?
This moron obviously has no idea how cause and effect works or how to look at correlating data and draw accurate conclusions from it. Someone should take him to one side and politely say "shut your mouth you idiot".
Since the 1970s when Porn has become more readily available the number of Rapes per 100,000 have fallen as access to porn has increased.
I wonder if I could get community service hours by putting in work on pr0n website? Let's write our local congress and petition.
lol. The work would probably be more interesting than picking up trash along the roadside. In reality, I doubt they would agree. They would probably put your letter in your personal FBI file and keep a closer eye on you.
