About the concept
I started this blog because I realized as a person shopping for new guns myself the first thing I do (like most other people) is do google searches to find pictures of guns. Not only that but I often just like to look at photos of cool guns and configurations.

So there is PLENTY of subject matter and gun types you can tie into this. I also planned to add on a forum to this later after it becomes popular sort of like www.militaryphotos.net.

I've already seeded the site with some good link bait like the golden AK-47 and the swiss mini gun. So I'd suggest finding some more rare photos of cool weapons and submitting the posts to Digg etc.

Features
Built on the latest wordpress version 2.5 (very nice upgrade by the way). It also features a free photo gallery called photopress. The gallery allows you to upload images while writing the small post It auto watermarks them, makes thumbnails, and lets you insert them into the post with the click of a button. iI also have the popular all-in-one SEO plugin installed on top of the already super SEO friendly wordpress engine.

Theme is a free wordpress theme called box-tube. Logo is a custom logo I had made for $50.

Not much work needed
You can write as little or as much as you want. This is basically a photo blog so the people are there for the photos! I personally just like to write a quick blurb before the post for SEO but you can write just one sentence or none at all since most of your traffic will come from google image searches and it will get it's keywords from the blog title and meta tags (thanks wordpress!!).

I know some large gun forums that have been running adsense for years

 

I have confirmed that guns are in fact not forbidden.

Hi, no it's a fairly new site. Traffic is under 100 uniques per day.

 

$60 for me........... wont pay a $ more.

 

As a gun fan myself...I'm going to seriously consider this one...looks like it may have some potential

Any reason that the feedburner subscribers is a static picture reflecting way more subscribers than the site actually has?

 

Seems that the site is just 15days old and has 6 mini articles only? How much content did u add?

 

$75.00 - Please notify via PM if I'm out bidded, I'll use my own hosting company. This bid assumes you'll fix the errors when you click a picture, see digg, stumble etc section when you do, I'm not in the habit of buying broken sites.

I'll also BIN for a lower price; it's a great site and concept but is very new, would be hard to mimic it.

 

Yeah that came with the design. It's not meant to deceive anyone. The blog is fairly new like I said and I just never added a real feedburner button. New owner can of course remove it.

 

This is a weapons photos site. People come for the photos.

Again I only wrote the little text blurbs for SEO purposes.

Can you please provide examples of large gun forums running google ads. I have been to many of them and don't see them anywhere and as I understand it Google will not allow you to place adsense on boards that are related to firearms

I think ads are not even showing up on the site anymore.

Crap you're right. The guy I know that owns a gun site said he has adsense ads but when I checked he's not showing any adsense ads.

No the ads are showing fine right now. But I'll be taking them off within the next hour or so.

P.S. that sucks....
