Well, it would help if you let us know how far along you are right now. Do you at least have a website up yet?

I'm still halfway there...but I'm optimistic that I'll reach that goal very soon. Just need patience, a lot of very good content and a little bit of luck ;)

There are plenty of free blogs written by smart guys. I not recommend you buying e-books. Although there are good ones most of them are SCAMS.

The good places to start may be are http://www.uberaffiliate.com/ and http://www.quityourdayjob.com/

There are several paid forums – someone tells they are priceless with lots of valuable information. Other people just recommend staying away from them. You have to make such decision by yourself.

One advice I may give you is to focus on only one niche and make a deep research before starting a PPC campaign. Keep in mind it is very hard to chase two rabbits at the same time :)

    Best Success.

I'll be honest - I put in a huge amount of effort for about two years on just one website and could never make it as profitable as it needed to be even though it achieved high Page rank and lots of visitors. I had to learn how to be a marketer instead of a writer. I was coming at things from a writer's bias, and we writers like to write lots of free stuff - and I wasn't monetizing it correctly and I was in a low earnings niche.

Over the past year I finally made the transition into the $300+ per day zone, and the main way I did it was through "stacking" websites - creating everything from microsites to blogs to larger affiliate sites with meaty content. I have about a three day process to launch a decent microsite and get some initial marketing going, and I have dozens of sites. I make sure that each site earns me $300-$500 per month minimum and just keep stacking them. Mostly I sell affiliate products and I also have a few reports/ebook packages out. My sites are profitable within one to five days and then I run them on a "set and forget" system - periodically cycling back to build some more backlinks or articles, but giving my sites time to age in Google and mature into natural organic rankings.

It's amazing how infinitely scaleable this business is - as long as you manage your time and energy well and get into a routine, the earnings potentials are endless. I recommend to everyone that you diversify - get into a lot of different markets. Some of them are going to get really hit hard by the recession here in the US and the overall downturn in the world economy - and others will bloom into amazing profits. By diversifying your strategy and developing a true online "portfolio" you can be recession proof - and financially abundant - in these times.

    Congrats on your success :)

However, have you ever considered you would earn even more money by concentrating on one site. Each little site you have becomes an island with just a few inbound links - whereas if you concentrated your effort on one site its backlinks and rankings would benefit hugely.

A site with 1000 backlinks & 100 pages of content is generally going to get more traffic than 10 sites with each 100 backlinks and 10 pages of content.

Have you tried taking one of your most successful mini-sites that is in a decent sized niche and expanding it?

What Perry Rose said is true. Even if your site has so many quality contents, you can't expect all of your visitors to return unless your site is about news or social sites. Big sites do advertise and it means paid advertising. I agree with him.

Its not true. You can generate thoasands of visitors through free advertising without paying a dime if you understand SEO and social media.

1.4 million page views in 24 hours with linkbait:

No money spent and if you look at the site (popcrunch) you'll see this tactic repeated again and again generating a lot of traffic.

The key to making $100 a day is the old fashioned method of building a list. Once you set up the list, you will see profits.
