How about a trivia contest? Come up with some questions involving guns, gun laws, and gun safety, gun history.... Do about 20 questions and make 2 of them really hard. First person to get back to you with the correct answers wins. If nobody gets them all right, prize goes to the first person that got the highest number of correct answers. If nothing else, it will get people searching for information on guns.

At one time I had a pretty good collection (7 or 8) until they got stolen. Been thinking about picking up a conceal and carry permit. I support the use of guns for protection, hunting, sports / target practice, etc. I believe that the right to bear arms is in the Constitution for good reason and that it should stay in it.
What are the gun laws like in Costa Rica? I heard they were pretty bad, but I also know that Gabe Suarez has been teaching classes in San Jose. Those two pieces of data don't correlate. I'm completely stumped on what to do with this contest. I don't have a forum on any of my politics or guns sites. Only one has a blog at the moment. I guess that means that the context will have to be placed on Fort Liberty. I've almost given up on having a good idea and I've just about convinced myself just to do a random drawing.
Maybe you should just give it to me since I clearly want it the most. Or maybe you have us write why we want it, or what we would do with it, or whoever finds the sexiest picture involving guns.
In order to carry a gun, you must have a carry permit and that is only issued to legal residents of Costa Rica.
I fully support guns when licensed and handled with responsibility. The public having guns is what keeps democracy from falling into dictatorships.
Most people aren't putting their postal zip code in their sign-ups. It looks like I'll have to make the instructions more clear. The postal zip code requirements helps to prevent people from signing up more than once.
