I want to buy a Mac after using PC for my whole life. So, it is a kind of hard "status quo" change.

Is there anything you would advise for/against before I make my purchsse?

I would appreciate any recommendation of yours (who use Mac a lot).

I would say go for it, I'm going to be making the change very soon too.

Get an iMac, I use one of these at work everyday, I love it.

I went to a Mac a few years ago and I wouldn't go back if Bill Gates paid me (well it depends how much).

Just keep in-mind that you will most likely need to get (buy) all new software.

Well you can do the same things on both but Mac is more user friendly and nicer
