without traffic i dont think you can get anything by leasing unless the domain is exceptional (like cool.com)

Most companies see Domain Leasing as a form of blackmail (maybe not the right word but you know what I mean) (that’s if you are trying to lease a .net name and they already own .com)

if you are going to lease it to someone who is starting from scratch then try to offer 5 year lease straight away rather than 1. It will be better for you and for them.

Hmmm the problem is if i lease it out for 5 years there might be somebody who comes from behind offering me a better price... dont you think leasing it for a year or maybe every 6 months keeps the domain flexible for all parties?

But then again the counter argument would be, will i ever get another person offering me a better price whereas i could have made something for the initial 5 years..

Also this .net that i have obtained is a niche e-commrece website. They have a network of e-commerece websites. Their main target audience is of people from an ethinic and religious background.

How much do you think i should advertise the lease of the two domains roughly from what ive said above.

how much traffic you get to this domain, i am not at all experienced with domain leasing but i think the $$ you can ask for depends highly on the traffic
