Google confirm down. See googlebot activity

gosh 10,000 is not a small number. that must be a painful experience

 

I checked my sites in webmaster tools and saw a graph just like yours. Strange.

 

I have the samge graph, but now he's doing well

 

I experience same as you all, normally when i stumble upon, it will show several minutes later in google, but now show after 3-4 days.

Website Titles are not updating either on search results.

 

I experienced the same thing. Results were inaccurate in the past couple of days.

 

This has been happing to 1 of my sites from last 1 week.

 

It's funny that once the Googlebot's start acting strangely, it drastically affects thousands, if not tens / hundreds of thousands of peoples lives. Is Google that important? (Rhetorical question).

 

This may be related to Google's new algo called Dewey. There's not much info on this algo change, but here a link so you can check it out...

From what I previously read about this new algo is that it was being used on two datacenters. It's possible G Bot activity is down if Google is moving Dewey to all the servers.

PS: I think Matt Cutts also called Dewey "BigDaddy."

 

Yep Same here, I lost Almsot all Keyword positions which my site was ranking I dont even come closer maybe in 10th - 12 page. Google traffic is down to earth with just 10-50 users a day from Google SERP.
Let's hope this will be sorted out soon...

is there any official news announced by google regarding this outage? or is it they got too excited after announcing record Q1 profit that their server got jammed? did you notice the coincidence of the outage and the announcement?
