Anyone use Google Checkout? I have just put my first two sales for design work through it and due for payment release today if it goes through with no problems I would be very impressed at the speed.

It usually hits the bank account 2 - 3 days after the transaction is completed.

yep - i just switched from PayPal to Google Checkout.. they're fast, seem to have good fraud detection, and the money goes right into your back every day. So far i'm very happy with GC.

Do you only use Google Checkout or do you it in addition? Since there are only fees on purchases, consider using multiple free processors such as Google and Paypal.

Google checkout is only for receiving money

The problem that i am having with it is that it seems to only have off site processing and that gets in the way with my cart systems that i have coded to use API calls.... When everything is under one roof (especially using an SSL cert) you hate to send someone off site to complete the transaction.

Does any have any experience with integrating Google successfully ON SITE with an SSL cert? or is this an Ill that will have to be put up with for the time being?

Right now, customer's must leave your site and pay through GCO. It may be something they do in the distant future, but the GCO business model doesn't look like it is headed towards a seamless checkout process anytime soon.
