Does anyones site get spammed by Nigerian scammers besides me?

    Every single day almost, Nigerian scammers try to sell iphones, yorkies, monkeys, and more on my classifieds. :mad:

    I can clearly see the green and white Nigerian flag on their ip but they say there somewhere else.

    Man that is the norm I guess.

    Oh, and Kenyians.

    Does this happen to anyone else?

    yep, on my main gmail address i receive over a 100 spam messages but luckily not one of those reaches my inbox ;)
    btw why don you just ban them? or setup to moderate what they post

    I receive their kind offers of millions of dollars every single day. Though I am too busy to try contact them yet :)

    I ban and delete daily but there is always some new ones I check often so nobody gets scammed.

    It's like another job for me.

    It use to happen on one of my anime forums in the past but I moved to smf and it seemed to stop. I used phpbb previously.

    They seemed to have cracked the captcha so the spamming is by bots. I guess smf is not that popular yet so it is still quite safe.
