I wasn't sure where to post this, so I apologize if this is the wrong place for it.

There was a thread in the Content Creation forum that was calling for writers and the instructions given in the thread told responders to post on the thread and then PM so I posted on the thread that I was going to send a PM and was promptly given an infraction for running up my post count. This is my first infraction so you can understand my frustration--I was just following directions. :(

Maybe a moderator can post a sticky about how to handle this situation? I'm not sure I have the authority to do so...

    Any advice?

Most of the times, dont listen to OP because whoever apply the rule is jsut with intention to get the thread bumped indirectly. And always apply by rule even tohugh OP's telling to break it.

Most legit sellers will jsut say PM me and dont even care if you post in thread or not.

Maybe you received it for posting on a 'very' old thread.
I guess it carries only 1point. Don't worry and carry on with your stuff. It'll expire soon.

Don't post 'PM sent' type posts. People know when they have a PM.
