I have no idea why Israel wants the UN expanded. I speak for me. I don't like it as an American.

I don't trust the UN to protect very much, and its record speaks for itself. The UN or some world body is a necessary evil as some would say. I think it serves a purpose but it is certainly not some bastion of fairness, justice, and rightness. It is simply a gathering of nations with all their biases and faults which reveal themselves in nearly everything the UN does.
