Hey I started some days ago bought me the domain www.oil-central.com But how do i register my page in www.google.com search engine ?? I have tried something here and there, dont know actually wtf i have done. But when i search in google for www.oil-central.com i cant find my page.. What to do ? i have seen some "googlebot crawler" have been on my page ?! And i know my page is very noob, so if someone have som tips what to make it better, bring it on baby Kind Regards Norway.
Your site will get indexed automatically. Adding a backlink to the site will make google crawl it. I don't think you don't need to register sites with search engines these days. Also, give it a few days like terminator69 says.
This will help; http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=34397 the spiders will come but it may take a while for your site to show up. ultimatly your goal would be to get your site to number one for your top keyword that is not your domain. my first tip would be to remove the 728x90 ad (the first one) or widen your page. Part of the ad is hidden which is not allowed.

Your site is not indexed yet. You can submit your site to google, http://www.google.com/addurl/ but you don't need to. Just add more backlinks to the site and it will automatically get indexed.
just added my url to http://www.google.com/addurl/ But there is was like this Comments box, i just wrote like, oil price,oil info, .. Is that the keywords for my page now ? like if someone search for oil price.. maby he finds my domain ? I know i need SEO, but in the google page i cant find any keywords for register my page.. :\
regarding keywords, just do the onpage optimization (spreading the keyword thru out the site, edit title/description tags, etc) and then just create some backlinks. google wil find your page thru the backlinks and index
When you say create some back links , like you mean that i should make som more "sub pages" to my page ? and spread words like oil all over the place ? Thanks for your answers !
Many here say that submitting your URL in Google's Add URL form will actually prolong the indexing process.
just surfed the internett for what back links is, is like "home" in top of your page is that a back link ?? Or should i make a link on my page with like, "oil news" with much text like oil oil oil etc and on that new page make a home button back to the inder.html ?? hmmm help me people
It normaly takes time to get indexed in Google, But, getting a strong backlink will faster the process.
