This is exactly what I'm talking about, and few here can or want to acknowledge the crap advice given to directory novices. Now this poor guy has come on here highlighting this problem, and you go and start something with me.

Once,again Jamie, you have got the wrong end of the stick, others too. I'm pissed off with keep explaining my posts so as to clear my name on here, and I'm not going to do that anymore. I am an expert, I hold business qualifications so I will speak with authority on subjects, because I've earnt that right by sitting many examinations. You think because you are an established member here that this grants you some sort of magical status, where your posts are the only ones that count, and ofcourse anybody not agreeing with you or the Gods can expect criticism, abuse and bullying.

I don't hump someone because they suddenly agree with something I've written. If I know something is wrong with a website, directory or whatever, I'll advise that person, then it's upto them what they do with that advice, but I won't abuse them for not agreeing with me, and that's the difference between you, me, and others on here.


BTW, where are your press releases Jamie? Show me yours and I'll show you mine! Surely you can't turn that down.

But, if you don't show me your real news stories in UK papers, then you will look a right idiot on here won't you. So I now put the same request to you - put up or shut up.

As you can see we do tend to be a contentious lot around here. If you can get past the posturing and fussing, there are often good ideas being shared.

Fighting is common and constant, not limited to directory owners but to all. On a lighter note, I think you meant to say "Touché". I have not idea what "Tu Sha" means. That cracked me up.

Should have been around here about 8-10 months ago.
It's one of the reasons the better half of the directory niche doesn't post and/or finds their way back to DP anymore.

 

I don't know if people are getting the point of this thread. People are now fighting about the subject of fighting.

I was trying to find the thread about mr cutts and paid links vs directories thread which was by far THE biggest fight this directory section had ever seen. It was so hectic that You dared not move away from the thread as you could be slammed and slandered and not be able to defend yourself as 2-3 others would start attacking in clans. As i recall it had 10,000 + views and around 400 replies and defiantly not for the squeamish at heart. ahhhhh the good ole days
