Using Squidoo, Hubpages.

I have just started using squidoo and hubpages to get quality links back to my site. Squidoo is a great place to build your links. They allow you to freely advertise and you can comment on squid lens which will give you a link back.

Hubpages on the other hand are a tricky place for marketers as they dont allow advertising or to many links. You must tread lightly in your advertising so you arn't flagged straight away.

I have used both Squidoo and Hubpages are are an excellent quick way of get quality backlinks.
My hubpage I created for BT complaints has nearly had 10,000 visitors in the past 6 months and has a Page Rank 3.
The links only become do follow if your score if over a certain amount on hubpages - think it might be 60 but not sure.

But they've got a firm goal in mind (to be an authority site) so they've got a tight gameplan.

I got a 69 score on a new hubpage (made it yesterday) using a spun article. Is this good or bad?

 

Your personal hub score needs to be over 75 to be followed and any specific hub under 50 gets a nofollow.

 

Can u give me some instances where you are able to get links from squidoo

No. Not all links from HubPages are nofollow.

If a hub has a HubScore of over 50 and provided your AuthorScore is over 75 then there is no nofollow.

 

I use squidoo by posting articles and then with links back to my site for the readers to be able to see the entire article. But these hubpages are something I know nothing about. First what are they and how do I find them.

I receive some traffic from my Squidoo lenses but nothing major.
Didn't try the hubpages, for some reason I just don't like them.

 

I used to use HubPages, but my hubs have become neglected - I think I'll have to give it another try...

 

Squidoo and HubPages are excellent sites. But I can't seem to get my scores and traffic above a certain level. Any suggestions?
