if i buy the domain englishteapot and redirect traffic to englishtrunkshowco (which sells british teapots) , is that penalized by google?
it is not at all penalised but it is not going to get you higher ranking it is useless and use http code 301 for redirect its better to use this
why would it be penalized if it is a relevant keyword? what would be penalized, the domain redirecting or the receipient domain of traffic? what if the redirect was on a second click? ie, show same content as englishtrunkshowco, but any click on the page would bring you to the englishtrunkshwoco domain. why is it useless? wouldnt i be able 2 build a stronger ranking landing page with the englishteapot domain? thx
first of learn to read i said that the domain would not be penalised check my previous post no one will be penalised even the domains keyword is not similar it is useless because you are not going to get any rank for the domain which is redirecting how will u get the traffic on the domain that u want to redirect and secondly if u redirect to other domain the other domain would not get any ranking because of redirection i mean it is not a SEO the domain where u want to redirect can surely SEOed but it is not an advantage to redirect domains to the other domain as far as SEO is concerned
