Buying hosting from Hostgator

    Hi, ive made a thread like this before but never had a definite answer.

    • Will getting my sites hosted by HostGator be much slower compared to a UK hosting company? (im from UK myself)

    Also another question which i havnt asked..

    • To hostgator allow you to host proxies?

    Damn, can anyone recommend a cheap/reliable hosting company which allows proxies.

    (dont want to buy hosting from some kid whos bought a reseller)

    Hello,

    I would suggest sambahosting (www.sambahosting.com) which has very excellent servers and top-notch technical support. Hostgator is also a good one.

    Hostgater is fine, I reckon they are one of the best hosting companies in the business.

    Go for HostGator, I live in the UK to and speed is faster, is does not matter where you live :p!

    I would look at there TOS, link is at the bottom, read it and you will find information about allowing proxies etc!

    I not only have a HostGator coupon website (see my sig below), but I use them myself for dozens of websites. They are great. Not sure about the proxy server question. Just ask them. They are very responsive.
