I think google pr update comming soon

 

Still no PR change in my site

(but I noticed that Google Directory was updated in the last couple of days)

 

ebay went from 3 to 8?

 

it's showing 9/10 on my toolbar

 

what made ebay drop to 3? That sounds preposterous

 

ebay was and still at pr9

maybe he's talking about ebay's other language domains

 

The Google Directory PR was updated whoever said that cheers

One of my websites www.allmenus.co.uk is a PR 0

In the directory it is now a PR 2

Its nowhere near the update IMO. They are probably updating the backlinks as I am having a huge fluctuations for my sites.

 

My UK site is still PR0 but has now been on page 1 for my main search terms for a week after cyclically swinging between page 1 and 4 for 3 or 4 weeks.

Is there a way of finding out a site's PR if it hasn't been exported to the google toolbar and it's not in the directory?

 

I agree.Even i use checkpagerank.net to check page rank, domain age and other details.

 

Only if you work for G. Everything else is bad guesstimates.

Anyway, on topic... it sure is true it seems that PR update has begun then... I have heard/seen some other people's PR doing all the uppity down... so I guess I gotta wait to see what G stored for me... Cheers and keep us updated everyone, I know I will.. aye!

 

they definitely updated backlinks yesterday, but they do, about every 2 weeks now in webmaster tools these days. we now have over 7x as many links showing inside WMT as on Yahoo site search.

My site it's PR 3 in directory it's 4!!!

 

What's wrong is how many of the kids around here enjoy starting and/or reviving PageRank threads every day.

It will happen when it happens, and nobody but Google knows when that will be.

 

Just because your site has updated doesn't mean this is a false alarm. Your site may have just not changed PR. Changes are afoot in GoogleLand.

 

Google directory has definitely been updated in terms of the PR rankings it shows. My site went upto PR6, while another one of my sites went to PR3, although I haven't built any links for it whatsoever - just proves what the local community can do you for without doing anything myself

None of my sites backlinks have been updated using the link: factor, which as we all know is symptomatic of a toolbar PR update - therefore I'd say it's safe to say there's no PR update on the horizon
