Any way to get vbulletin for free?

About 80% of forums are based on vbulletin. Do all of them buy it? No hosting company gives vbulletin that often.

Any way to get vbulletin for free?

No way, it is a commercial software, the developers earn money by selling it. If you want something free, get phpbb3 or SMF.

I'm sure you could find the files somewhere but you'll still need the license to use it.

The simple answer to why everyone has it is that they pay to use it.

You will never get it for free.

If you want a free forum, try PHPBB :)

This forum will have paid for it.

Yes but you should buy it. If you don't have the money get free PHPBB or SMF or vanilla forums.

You can get your members to pay for it...

Start with a stable release of any of the better free forum platforms, get the site established, and then post a thread asking for donations. Include in the thread that any that donate more then $X amount of money will be given special status with larger inboxes, a bigger avatar, and a special forum just for them.

You might not get vBulletin for FREE from the seller but still theres a way you can have it FREE? I mean getting it without spending a dime... But not directly with them. All you have to do is find a way to make money online. Well to those people wanted to venture a business and doesn't have enough money for start-up it always start there.

but what a heck... get a nulled vBulletin next build some good niche forum then make some traffic to it and if you already have a great traffic make some money on advertisements then if you make your first $160 buy a license vBulletin then upgrade your old one, at the END your safe.... some warez forums do that I think...

    :D

    It's a thing called money. :D

You can get as many vBulletin forums if you have enough.

horrible advice...whether it's nulled for 5 minutes or 6 years you still just advocated pirating...which is NOT the way to go about getting vbulletin.

It's also not fair to those who have had to develop the software and to those who have had to pay for there lisenses.

Start with a free forum software.. Would recommend phpBB3 and then after you get $$$ go for vB if you still feel so.

    1. What? didn't quite get that....

    2. Read what has already been said...no you can't...

    3. $85 a year is fine, but just figure after 2 years it would have been cheaper to buy the lifetime license ;)

Just buy it. It's probably the best forum (well, it's the best I have seen, I don't know if that says much) software on the planet, and it's not that expensive. I don't know why it's not used by everybody. Most of the other ones seem to suck compared to this one, so much in fact that I rarely find myself posting much on a forum if it's not 'powered' by vBulletin.
