Which 'Holy Book' or book of revelations from any religion, do you think is the best and why? :)...this can be applied to non religious people too as i know some of them actually find the books interesting to read for other purposes

I think this would be a good idea for a thread...more peaceful than alot of the conflict threads around at the moment.

Fan of The Mists of Avalon, or Druids, myself. That, and Fudochi Shinmyoroku, "Record of Immoveable Wisdom," though the former two are better reads, and the latter is an injunction to sit down.

    The BIBLE!

It's the only one that tells us from the beginning to the end what will happen and IT hasn't been wrong once in over 2,000 years.

It tells us that GOD is our Father and not our task master.

    He loves us unconditionally.

We are all brothers and sisters.

It tells us where evil comes from and who promotes it.

It gave us a standerd for living and most countries have implemented it's knowledge in their court systems. GOD said when you judge to let it be by a jury of the defendents peers not just by one person.

Great common sense health practices if American doctors had obeyed they would have saved alot of people such as washing hands in running water in stead of dipping their dirty hands from one patient into a bowl and going to the next patient with the same germs many more babies would have lived.

It gives us a sexual standerd that we can see if it were followed we would not have so many people with aids and other std's not as many abortions and divorces.

Hope for never giving up because GOD is with us.

And to forgive others as we want to be forgiven by GOD.

It tells of the power of miracles that are still used today.

And much more great things from GOD.

To us brothers and sisters the children of the Father in Heaven.

Holy books tend to be poorly thought out and poorly written... Even as works of fiction they aren't very good, Literary speaking.
