Celebrity site - make private offer

I have no BIN in mind. I do invite only serious offers. No offers based on a 10X revenue will be accepted as that will mean selling the site for $13 - $18. Will consider offers that hold in consideration what it would reasonably cost you to get the same site built from scratch, and populate the site with 95% fresh content of which 7000 pages are indexed in Google (a handful of posts are from BANG's XML feed service)

You'll need to have the ability to drive traffic to the site. That's the source of my frustration. As you can see the site is a competitive site as far as the development goes; but traffic-wise it does not compete as I just don't have the knack for that I have to admit.

I'm told by pretty much everyone I've consulted that this site can and should do significantly better with a little SEO work; but like I said, I lack SEO skills and don't have the funds to bring someone in to handle the job; so I'm looking to sell it as I see no point in keeping it if I won't be able to do anything with it beyond the developmental aspect.

Not sure what you mean by where does the content come from. As with any celebrity gossip site I check the news and blogs sections in Google for the latest headlines, check out the top sites to see what's going on then write about it. As much as possible I try to avoid discussing the same topics as everyone else but it's nearly impossible not to be writing about the same things as other sites when it comes to celebrity gossip. Assuming I'm understanding your meaning. If you mean who writes the content, I write it with some paid help from different family members from time to time.

What I'd like to get for the site would constitute wishful thinking at this point, so please, if anyone is seriously interested in the site, rather than asking what I'd like for it please make me an offer that you are willing to pay which you consider fair. If I'm not willing to sell it for that price I will simply decline the offer. I hope that seems reasonable.

 

So that I don't waste anyone's time. I would ideally like to be made an offer in the xxxx range. I fully respect that the majority of buyers here will not pay in that amount for a site that's making no revenue and getting very little traffic at this time, but it will be very difficult for me to sell the site for for a figure in the xxx range even if this means I don't get it sold right now.

To the person asking how much the site sold for previously, the figure was lower than I would have liked. I prefer not to disclose the exact amount but it was less than $1000.
