Will this damage my site?

    Hi,

I wrote an article and put it on a few directories.

Spammers have spammed it over the net, and some of the pages can be found here:

    http://www.google.com/search?q="Chi...on=0&rlz=1T4ADBR_enGB260&pwst=1&start=20&sa=N

However, a lot of the results have "This site may harm your computer." written under them as Google seems to think they contain viruses or something.

Will such poor quality listings damage my site? It might look like I've created a small link farm for my site.

    Regards,

    fcmisc.

I'm not pretty much sure about it but may be these spams could bring bad traffic to your site...

Does this article feature on your site as well? Where was it first?

This is off page marketing which you have no control over so it will not hurt your site. Google knows that you cant fully control what happens externally from your site so it wont punish you for it. The only thing that could happen is that the article does not rank well.
