Sonal I would like to suggest one more thing which could be a problem in ASPX pages. Check for the viewstate data, make sure your page doesn't carry viewstate data at the top of the page or near the header area. That viewstate data can be pushed to the bottom. If that appears at the top, the search engine will read that junk and that can cause problem of pages being ranked well for keywords. Message to Vishali, Dear Madam, use this forum to make some comments, ask questions but don't just leave meaningless lines, that are useful for your site link back but not useful to anyone in this forum.
Sonal, I build sites in asp and asp net and have been at the top of google for very competitive keywords for a long time. The extension does not mattter, so concentrate your SEO efforts else where my friend. If you are really set on this then do a google search for a 301 redirect...this will take all page rank, links etc and associate them with another page which you specify, eg your new html page. Myself i think it looks stupid.. but i didnt say that did I (out of respect) I'm perfectly entitled to correct peoples english. If you choose to use a language use it correctly or you can expect people to correct you and dont complain about it. After all i dont go around saying random words of indian, or german (or adding random ones to the end of a sentence.) If people dont correct one another in basic sentence structure we will never understand each other.
