I can remember losing a lot of money as an advertiser getting started in PPC. But at least I learned my lesson
I had a $39 click about 6 months ago - insurance related - but the normal rate is around $2-$5. The downside is that the niche is so competitive that I don't get much traffic to those pages, and therefore don't make as much money as with other pages with more traffic and lower paying clicks.
I had a $26 click a few weeks ago -- obviously just newbie adwords advertisers with their budgets set too high. Either that or companies hiring SEO "experts" and losing their shirts for their ad bucks. The niche I got my $26 click typically has click earnings between $0.30 to $0.80.
You are wrong. Someone just got bullied on Adwords. You probably won't understand if you are not an expert at adwords but that is how Adwords advertiser kills each other while publisher earns big bucks
The $28 click is probably for keywords related to DUI attorneys or DUI lawyers with a specific city or location in the keyword. My data shows that Adwords advertisers for the keyword: DUI attorney Dallas are paying $80-90 per click and DUI attorney Austin is paying $85-95 click also DUI lawyer - San Diego is paying $75-85 per click. Since adsense pays you roughly 30-35% of what they get from the Adwords advertiser, thus comes your $20-30/click pay day.
