Dude, can't you view their proof? They are showing you a step-by-step process to how they created it? If that isn't convincing you then I dunno what will lol. This IS my final word on it : Unbelivable.
watari, And, you gave your file to me that's why you think I used your symbolic or what? That movie symbol is not your property, Ok? On your symbolic you have some text symbol, so what makes it unique and only your concept is only that letters and nothing more. But one thing will make it your property, by adding (c)watari text on each pixel!
Don't be mad that people pointed out you using globally distributed clip art for a company's logo that wanted something unique. When millions can use the same clipart (Especially when another designer submits the same on in the same contest as you did) "which happened". That just shows how UN-unique & UN-creative it really is. My only suggestion is that you practice designing from scratch & stop buying clip art. It's the only way you'll start getting good. Watari has made several mascots and heavily-graphical logos to very specific briefs in the past for myself and my clients. All excellent and they couldn't possibly be clip art as they are to detailed specifications. I get sick of two-bob chancers like you trying to make quick bucks and putting people down in the process. Gonna go and work now.

Magicboy: At this point you will probably do yourself a favor by not saying anything further because it doesn't matter any longer since your credibility is in question. As stated earlier, instead of arguing it back and forth, just continue designing and participating and don't burn bridges. If you see a concept is already on the table, don't submit a design that is similar or borrows elements from another designer, unless the contest holder's opening post has very specific requirements.
