AGS, I would prefer Obomber. No one knows what he is, so we have an outside chance that he isn't totally bought and sold.

On the other hand, he's potentially a Marxist.

But Clinton and McCain are both war hawks, and they will destroy America with their militarism. We're already at a tipping point economically. The world won't tolerate our aggression if we aren't #1 economically.

Clinton is in a limbo she can't win. But if she wants to preserve a chance in 2012, she must soldier on. And I honestly believe she just cannot accept that she isn't wanted. She came in with the presumption of a cakewalk, and got her ass handed to her. Any wins now will simply be too little, too late. On the other hand...

    I am a bit troubled. :D

I don't support Ron Paul, and I am quite aware of his platform, AGS. He never had a chance with me because of what he stands for, not because I didn't know what he stands for. I believe he is an honorable person, but not a candidate, or a platform, I could ever support.

I can appreciate someone who has taken a look at Ron Paul and doesn't agree with his platform. At least you took a look.

Unfortunately the media really did a good job at not mentioning Ron Paul or when the did mention him painting him as a fringe candidate. If they had given him half the coverage of the other candidates that he has outlasted, we might be looking at a different election.

Let's not fool ourselves mate he's going to be bad. If it comes down to Obomber v McWar or the Hill Dog he might be slightly better but it would be like walking down the street and stepping in some dog shit and getting it on one shoe compared to getting it on both shoes. Either way it's shit.

Thanks for that bud but all three candidates are going to be a disaster and we all know that. I admire your posts on DP even though we disagree on pretty much everything I appreciate your input.

I don't know that, actually. Call me a reluctant optimist, who is skeptical of most things, but also willing to give a try to someone that most closely fits a bill, for me.

    Thank you, AGS.

You're welcome buddy. :) I have always found your posts to be very well thought out and presented, unlike our friend GTech who has gone off to the land of Cuckoo with his input in the last 3 years. :(

Along with guerilla and telsa (who doesnt post much these days :() I enjoy your posts.

Socialism doesn't economically calculate. Literally. If it did, I might be more inclined to that doctrine.

Capitalism is not a dirty word. Not if you like your microwave, your cell phone, your laptop, your broadband internet, your coffee maker or your car. Technological advances and low prices making products available to the most people possible doesn't happen under Socialism. Capitalism enables that.

There was a time, when the leftists were the capitalists, but most people are not well read enough to know that. Left and right have changed sides over the last 200 years.
