is that a more common behavior in DP?

    I posted a small job I needed done - got 5 pm's - answered all -
and then total silence. Not one followed through after they said they want to do it.
I don't have a bad reputation, always paid immediately within 5 minutes.
But only show 3 iTrader points [not everyone gave me a rating, which is OK if they don't want to]

Just wanted to know if that is a more common thing that happens, they they pm, want the job, correspond with me once or twice - and then simply drop the ball completely, not even saying 'no' I don't want or can't or anything.

Not a big deal - just want some feedback in the overall.

    Thanks,
    michele

most people dont check PMs every minute or frequently so it may take up to a day for them to get back to you if interested. keep in mind DP members are from different time zone too... you're awake = they're asleep

Sometimes I'll respond in a thread that I'm interested in something and before the person gets back to me I have found something else that I want to spend my money on. It happens -

Yeah, sometimes I'm interested in something, but hey, before that person replies, I find something else to do. That's life.

Some members remains really very busy infact they can't handle so many PM's at a time so you have to give them some more time to respond you.

Some people just post that they are interested when really they arn't. It drives up their post count for a start.

Also sometimes things come up and they arn't able (but usually people will tell you if they arn't able to anymore)

Next time, tell to start the work immediately. I am sure you will get other interested persons for the work.

    Good luck!

Mostly happened with threads related to Signature requirement  Few members start thread in BST for 'Signature Requirement' and then they disappear without buying single signature :( Really bad attitude.

    DON.
