Just curious... Let's see if there's somebody who survived a shark attack or things like that...

I almost went blind from jumping head first into the corner of a table once...
Missed my eye by about half a cm. Cut some nerves so I didn't even feel it at the time until blood started coming down my face...

Mines not exactly life threatening but I survived singing in front of 200 people during a school meeting, I think I actually did quite good :)

Cliff - When I was 6 or 7 I fell of a cliff when we were camping. I fell about fifty feet and broke my leg. About twenty feet below where I landed was a raging river that would have killed me for sure (I've never been a great swimmer, and a broken leg would complicate that further). I was airlifted out, which was a very neat experience to say the least.

Dog Attack - When I was 8 I was mauled by a psychotic german shephard. It tore open my face, I had over 100 stitches and spend several days in the emergency ward at the hospital.

Stroke - Last year I was trying out a new medication that reacted badly with other meds I was taking. It caused something called a spastic migraine (basically a migraine which hits you instantly like a sack of bricks, most migraines take 10-15 mins to reach their peak), which then caused a stroke. I collapsed in front of my family and went blind in one eye for almost a week, but thankfully there was no permanent damage. Lesson learned: We take depth perception for granted.

Heh, I'm a walking disaster. You'd think those would stop me, but I've also:

    • Shattered my left rib cage during a martial arts tournament, spent a month in the hospital (when I was 12)
    • Broke my left arm in 6 places at once, I had to have surgery to put pins in to help it heal (when I was 14)
    • Fractured my spine when I fell backwards over my dog into the bathtub (did that last year as well)
    • Broken every finger and toe, and just about every small and large bone in every leg and arm at one point or another.

Again, just a brief list. I've taken alot of damage over the years :D

I want to survive a shark attack. then you get a sweet teeth shaped scar. I always dreamed of stabbing a shark in the throat...maybe I can combine the two.

I felt like peeing once in 1st grade and asked for permission from my teacher. She did not let me go to the bath room. Eventually I peed on my shorts. Those minutes were definitely tough on me.

Surprisingly I don't have many. My face has a very feint scar on my right cheek that looks like a small "f", and a 2 inch scar under my chin. I was amazed that I didn't have alot worse scarring considering my left cheek was barely left hanging on my face when the dog got me.

My left arm does have a few small scare where they inserted the pins, but it just looks like very minor burns that healed over the years.

Pretty much everything else is the same, the worst scars I have are on my face and they are barely noticeable unless you know what to look for.

I'm guessing this is mostly due to the fact that the injuries requiring surgery happened when I was a kid, so I healed way more than an adult would have. I'm sure if I had my face torn apart by a dog now at my age (30), I'd look alot different after healing.
