How to Attract Regular Visitors to Your Website

I have entertaiment website(sign). There are 100-150 unique visitors daily.
But 85-90% of this visitors are from SE.
How to convert this "organic traffic" to regular active visitors on my website.
Users don't want sign up on the site. They only read and sometimes rank jokes.

May be you have some suggestions/advice or smth else?
May be you have similar experience?

 

Offering truly entertaining content that motivates them to come back.

One more fact, if your domain is a name hard to remember that could be the reason and you need to encourage the bookmarking of your site for a visit back

This is any webmaster goal, work on this. The search engine traffic is pure and simple, I do not see why you can't turn them into regular visitors, maybe something with site content?~

 

70% of my website is repeat daily visitors. I attribute that to fresh daily content.

 

Not only "repeat daily visitors". I mean "repeat daily active visitor".
SignUp/Activation/Rank/Submit & other.
First step of course SignUp & Activation.

 

Fresh content is the best for repeat traffic.

 

Keep it available for all users, but give something extra to registered users. Something it's worth registering for.

 

make some promo or offers this will definitely help, get more traffic by updating your sites everyday. make something new that will attract the surfer to sign up.

 

"bookmark this page" & "make this your homepage" links at the top of every page can help things, try this out, it works!!!

 

Adding video along with regularly updated content (blogs, articles, new product, etc.) are all great ways to keep people coming back. Nobody reads the same book, everyday. Why would they look at a website that never changes?

 

There are a few obvious ways.

Offer new content frequently that will actually keep the reader coming back.

Run competitions.

Do reviews on topics your readers are interested in.

If you are having entertainment related sites, than it must be having mp3 songs, wav songs, videos, ringtones, wallpapers, screensavers and may more... right?

Just keep update your website,,, means, you need to place tones, wallpapers and songs and tones before the movie released, and make sure about the quality of content also.

once people find that you are updating your website regularly, they will surely book marked it or remember the name of website, also people may refer ur website to others.

You need to make your website sticky and impress your viewers so much that they want to come back. A few ways to encourage this would be to start a newsletter or add a bookmark button.

They're definitely active.

They help me make money through CPM ads because they're going through the articles.

Then, they help me make more money by chatting about each article on my message board.

Plus, a few actually buy stuff off of my affiliate programs.

You have to build site loyalty with your readers. It pays off in the long run.

First of all I'd like to say THANK YOU to all for participate in this thread.

I changed some blocks of site, updated website daily, added more link to registration, to bookmark and etc.
But it doesn't help. Users don't want to register on website.

May be anybody have any ideas more?

 

To increase traffic on your website, you need regular content updation and link building. Spend more time on forums, blogs & social media sites

 

Embed few interactive tools and add few useful video tutorials that will keep them coming back.
