So my blog got deindexed in Google (how can I get it back?)

I put up a blog last week, strictly white hat, no adsense, standard Wordpress.
Made five posts during the span of three days then decided I would add the URL to my blog in a signature on a forum I have about 400 posts on.

Added URL to my blog in the signature at 12, then went to sleep. When I arrived at work 8 hour later I noticed my blog was removed from Google.

-Forum was good, no porn/drugs/nude etc
-Blog was indexed in Google 100% before I added signature on forum

Am I doomed, should I create a new subdomain on my domain and create a new blog?

Weird.. did you copy content instead of writing original articles?
That's the only thing I know of that could have deindexed you..

Have you submitted the sitemap? Is the content unique? I don't think forum signature has anything to do with de-indexing as you mentioned that it's a good forum.

Wait for a day or two - it should be back.

if you are not doing any duplicate content..you don't need to worry...just waiting for another 3-4 days and check again...may be you will see again your blog in google index.

Content is uniqe, written by me and centers around the subject of the blog which is just a fansite of a computer.

I have submitted sitemap to Google and Google picks it up, I can see it in Google webmasters.

Its been like this since Friday morning.

Guys, when you start up your new blog.. there is a point to be taken, do not panic if your site appears then disappears from Google index.

The Google index will put your site, but it will be shaky, you will notice articles being deindexed and reindexed and so on until ranking stabilize. Just please do not panic about that as it happened to me many times.

Point to be taken too, you should use sitemap plugin for wordpress. This will help you get your articles indexed fast. and at the same time, having your link in sig links will increase the odds of being indexed fast.

I recently made a blog, and I added the link here with 3000+ posts. Adding to forum signature helps your site being crawled faster as it did for my blog. My blog got indexed within 2 days.

I don't think that adding link to signature has anything to do with de-indexing.

I am running the Google sitemap plugin and I can see that Google has read sitemap.xml.

But if we decide the incoming links from the forum was not the problem I still think its interesting that the blog is completetly gone from Googles result page.

oh I lied, one content of one page actually shows up on a scraper page not belonging to me

Its interesting that another Wordpress blog I created two days after this one on another subdomain also got removed from Google. The only difference was that I was running Adsense from the beginning on that one. Both blogs are completely white hat (unique hand written content, good info, no bs), running Google sitemap plugin, both where in Googles index and are now removed since thursday night last week.

Maybe if your content is being scraped then what is happening is your becoming the victim of duplicate content and not the person who has scraped content from your blog.

it's just that it's a new site. like others have mentioned, just be patient, if it's a good site, it will get back in the index. Work on getting quality backlinks to your site, this will help a lot.

There's your answer. A new site will have indexing issues, especially if backlinks to the site are weak. Just do some link building, write more posts, link out to other bloggers in your posts etc and you will start to see pages stick.

Since the goolge "dewey update", this has happened to many, myself included. you may not be able to get your previous page ranking back, at least not with the same URL. It seems that google remembers these sort of punished links and makes it hard to get them back up.

I have the same problem...one of the celeb blogs that got deindexed right after the PAGE RANK...but then its indexed again its shows all the pages "Results 1 - 10 of about 1,180 from istarpics.com. (0.09 seconds) " but the real issue is that it doesnt show my url anywhere...my organic traffic has gone down from 850 to 50/day...how long does it take to come back in serps after getting indexed again? im actually losing hope here..site was getting me $10 daily...its down to 50 cents now

P.S its upgraded from Pr 0 to Pr 3
