i'm not sure, you'll need to contact support and find out. That would be the best way to go or if you can find their AUP/Terms of Service, i would go through that too.
No, I dont think lunar pages hosting will be sufficient for your image uploading website, as it needs lot of mysql/php resources which will be limited there. You need start with VPS or Dedicated Server ... Regards
Thanks for your honest reply. I just asked Lunar Pages they allowed this kind of site but only limited to the amount that I can use. They even suggest if the image site become to popular that I use VPS or dedicated. Cheers.
Thats the problem. I have already asked Lunarpages and they said they were okay with it and the person above also said the same then found out in forum that they don't allow.. Crazy...
yup tell what just leave both and try 1and1 if you see mih blog the leader in image hosting the recommend 1and1 try them and if you looking for rebates pm me
heheh.. WTF!! I mentioned in my question that I am going to use their basic plan.. Looks like I have to go with the original plan using 1and1. But the weird thing is I have already ordered with 1and1 about 4 hours ago and their are no notification of my hosting plan setup? I only got email by Paypal that i have made a payment agreement with 1and1. Is this normal? Anybody have experiences with 1and1 before? Thanks
Let me clear this up for you. Most shared hosting companies don't allow image hosting sites. Hostgator and Lunarpages don't allow image uploading sites. Just read their TOS. From HG: I would suggest you go with a VPS or a DEDICATED server. - Prilep
