I saw another post of the forum that raised an interesting question. It was interesting in the firs place but then I realised I had done exactly the same if not worse. For my next project I have registered a domain with a major entertainment company in the title. Am I in the wrong, is there a limit to how I should use this domain or will I be ok?
There are many sites out there with trademark phrases and words in their domain and flying under the raider because they are currently unpopular. But if the site ever get popular in the future or anytime, then it may become a problem. But as with everything it depends on the phrase and how is used and what is the content of the site.
OK sorry if I weren't clear. The compan is Nintendo and the domain is NintendoExperience. It would basically be a blog about Nintendo, Game Reviews etc. Do you reckon I should do something or just crack on and worry about it at a later date? If it ever does become a problem?
I don't think it would be a problem. You are basically giving reviews on Nintendo games and services I don't think they will sue or take away your domain coz ur doing free promo for them. This is contratry if your making a brand out of it with the same service like Nintendo -EG Game Makers..
