I was just wondering, and this may very well be an old idea, or a stupid one, but is there such thing as an AdSense "click fraud ring" where AdSense content webmasters get together to click on each other's ads- kind of like a "click exchange?" It's not like I'm looking to start one or anything, but I thought I'd ask since it came to mind.
How do they look like? These places in India? To answer the question: There are many places like the ones you are asking about (and they are outside the border of India too). They all die eventually and publishers sooner or later get banned. You can get away with it for a long time, but you'll get caught anyway. You may even repeat the process by faking identities, be aware though, what goes around comes around. Adsense team is the best in determining click fraud and is far above other PPC engines.
Yeah! i know they are simply fraud people infact many of DP new users contact to join it Is there any process to stop this long chain of fraud people
Wow thanks guys for the quick response! So there are fraud rings...I knew that if I could come up with the idea, tons of others already have lol. Well, that little thought kept me up (it's 2:30am here) but now that I have my answers I think I can go to bed.. man, people never run out of ways to scam others huh..
there are few of them i heard of and they all should be locked in prison (and whipped in the rear) for scamming adwords advertisers out of their advertising money and cheating the program
Eventually each one of those publishers involved in click exchanges will be banned and they will come to this form with a thread " OMG Google banned me and I never clicked my own ads"
your thinking of some kind of "pay for clicks". he's taking about click exchange.there are dumb and lazy people all over the world.....
i think they may come out with various kind of idea about fraud ring....eventually you gonna get caught......well, just follow the book don't ever try funny funny thing....
I'd think you'd get caught eventually... Even if you had a thousand people clicking on each other's ads. Considering how many actual IPs there are in the world, a thousand isn't that much. (I'm assuming here.) But I'd think that Google's ability to track non-organic traffic extends to even large numbers of non-organic traffic.
I think it's EASIER and LESS WORK to create a site with quality content that actually gets traffic than it is to go through all the trouble of visiting hundreds of sites to make just pennies a click.
