My paypal account has got limited. I have used VCC. What to do now?

Hi friends. My paypal account is limited now as I have done a big transaction. They are asking for credit card statement and photo ID. I can add bank account, and give them photo ID proof.

But I dont know how to give credit card statement. Is there any way to unlimit my account ?

 

Go into your account and they will have listed everything you need to do to get your account unlimited. If all the information you gave them is legitimate you shouldn't have anyproblem.

I can provide them with all information except for the credit card statement

That is the problem I am having...... Any solution to this?

Well , i wanted you to NOTE that gahoo was able to unlimit his account by simply making a telephonic conversation to paypal. He DID NOT add any credit cards. So its not an issue. Dont tell them u used a VCC . Just tell them that u can provide other details other than CC.

If they already know that you have used a VCC, it seems like your better off taking the opposite approach. Be honest and tell them you can verify the information with your bank account. Most like, don't they already know about the VCC and that's why they're asking for a statement?

Account was limited only because of a transaction which they suspicious. Now that case is resolved. But account is still limited

Are you really certain that it has nothing to do with the VCC ?

Because if the transaction is deemed suspicious, asking for your credit card statement does not determine anything. In such situation, they will ask for your invoice and delivery note.

When they find your credit card that you use is suspicious then they will ask for your credit card statement.

I am pretty sure they are being and sounding nice and do not want to explicitly say that you use VCC which is a fake tool to get your account verified.

 

Oh I see..... So, any solution that you can suggest? Im afraid that I will not be able to unlimit if I tell them that I use a VCC.

 

just make a new account, you are wasting time going back and fourth.. paypal will make your life miserable

Remember in future after entering tht 4 digit code for vcc verification .. u should delete ur vcc ...ur account still remains verified .. this is good cuz in future if by chance ur acc gets limited ... they never ask anything about vcc statements ...

 

Try something like this:

Gosh, that credit card is still on there? I completely forgot to take it off. Ya know, I closed up that account at the bank. Geez, the bank can't give me a statement on something I already closed. I'll give you bank account info, that I can give you and a copy of my id. Will that work for ya? I know I'm so stupid, I should have deleted but I plumb forgot about it. Ah, it's been a tough couple of weeks for me, ya know how those things go, don't ya?

Remember, most people are stupid. If you've done customer service, you know that's the truth. Act stupid and have a contrite spirit. Make them feel like they've done a good deed by helping you. When they hang up the phone, make them tell their co-workers about the stupid guy they just talked to....as long as you are humble, stupid and nice......and talking to an older guy or a young woman on the phone, you'll get what you need.

 

Let me mention that please check out that whether they have also asked for ome other documents or not, if yes then you are lucky, just send them those documents accept credit card statment, as paypal needs a single document in the listed ones, but if you are only asked for credit card statment then its important to send them the statement,


because once they asked me for a lot of documents, and i sent them all, but few documents were missing, and when i asked them that how to send the rest of documents as the uploading spcae was filed up, so they told me that those documents ae much enough, and i don't need th rest of documents to send.Check out the email from paypal, asking for the documents, and find how many documents they need, if its only the statement then you are un lucky, but if there is any other document then send only that and make phone call to paypal, for the restoration

Paypal will not have limited your account because of the VCC. It's an automated process when you deal with a large transaction you will get limited.

The longest they can limit you is 180, so you have one option of waiting this period, and after this time, either withdrawing it to a bank account or receiving it as check.

Alternatively, you can photoshop a credit card statement. If your VCC does not give statements, there is no other way to do it.

However, are you SURE you can't get a statement from your VCC? The likes of entropay.com give you the option to view a statement online. If they don't, contact your VCC company, see if they can send you a statement.

But believe me, hundreds of people have photoshopped both their utility bills and CC statements so the address matches with the PP account, and I haven't heard of one that has failed.

 

Photoshopping Utility Bills and Credit Card statements would indeed be the wrong thing to do. It is fraud and in the real world can be deemed as a crime.

Don't open another account too as it would also be another breach of your contractual agreement with Paypal.

The thing is that it would have been your fault to have used a fake ID like a VCC in the first place. Why don't you just use a real bank issued credit card and be done with it.

 

just give them what they are requesting and you should get the process going if you didn't do anything wrong.
