Maybe you have to be in the US to use this feature. I have a credit card linked to my PayPal account. However, you can't actually add "funds," it's just a backup funding source.

It's not possible to add funds with a CC. You must link your acc to a local US bank account in order to upload funds. I think this is also available in the UK (uploading via a bank account i mean), dont know about other countries.

Like what Tyler said, you can link your credit card to your paypal account. Basically your paypal account can have $0 balance and when you make purchases through it, it will utilize whatever funds you have in your paypal account and the balance can be funded by your credit card.

There is no real point in keeping balance in your paypal account because the backup credit card system works.

Alternatively, if you have a business or premier account, you can pay yourself through a donation or buy now link. Just make sure the email address that you use is not the same as your current paypal account or else it would not allow you to fund your own account that way.

As in the above posts, once you are verified With your chosen credit card,
when you have $£0 in your payapl the fund will come from the credit card you got verified with, when you make a purchase
Im doing this no problem and have been for years now.

Can anyone tell me how to do this exactly? I have been looking ecerywhere for a buy now or donation link, but how do i make it so it would pay my own account? I need to move money from my credit card to my paypal account, and then withdraw it...

    Thanks

I found a way that you can actually do that...

*Sign up for another Paypal account.
*Send money to that Paypal account that you just created using a credit card.
*Login to the account that you just created and refund the entire amount.
    *That's all!

Paypal might change their policy in the future. But it's good for now.

    ;-)

I think you can do it by sending money from another paypal account or sending money via donation.

I'm not sure if it works but i would like to know if there are other ways to add money to your paypal account.

You dun need to load funds on your paypal from your CC, when you make some purchase of send money to anyone, its automatically picks up from your credit card.

Are you sure that's allowed under PayPal's Terms of Service? From what I have read, you're not allowed to send funds to yourself via Credit Card. While you're allowed to send credit card based funds to others via a payment feature, I don't believe PayPal allows you to pay yourself through your own payment processing tools. Can someone confirm this? Thanks for asking this, I have been confused on the policy for a while.

    ok ...

conclusion.... we can verify paypal account via virtual credit card.

I have verified my own account via visa netsafe virtual card.

    make a vc with 3$

put this card number to paypal account . after few minutes it will ask for verification code from transaction log. 4 digit.

check the visa generator site and yout netbank account statement for card transfer. you will get the transaction log with paypal transaction number. put the specific 4 digit code to verification page

you are done. your verification amount will be refunded to paypal account within 3 days.

    wish u a happy verified account. :)

Don't you need a bank account to verify your account?
Also can you make payments and send money directly from your paypal if you have 0 balance but deduct from your credit card. How do you go about doing that?
    Thanks in advance

This method shouldn't even work, at least if you have a US Paypal account. If you make a payment with a credit card and it's refunded, the refund should go directly to your credit card - the money won't be transferred to your original Paypal at all.

Using Paypal to give yourself "cash advances" from your credit card is explicitly against the Paypal user agreement.
