Anyone buy a domain through godaddy's aftermarket service tdnam.com ?

    Hi,

I have found a domain on tdnam.com that I want to purchase. I placed a low ball bid originallly, but I don't think it was high enough as I think the reserve was higher, and a bid wasn't registered. Therefore I raised my bid. I am the only and highest bidder for the domain, but there are like 35 days left in the auction. I assume that when the 35 days are up and no one else bids, I win the domain?

    Regards,

    Wyatt

You will win that auction,if there is no 2nd bid higher than your maximum bid at the end of the auction.
As per my experiences,I never bid a higher amount before the final date/moment what ever the situation may be.:)

    Good luck.

    Wyatt,

I agree with what Getwell said. Keep an eye on it but don't raise your bid again until the last few hours. Sometimes people get shills to run the bids up if they think they have a "live one" on the hook.

Yes, the auction type is set to "Offer/Counter Offer". Since I met the owners "reserve" I assume they might be happy with my offer since it registered me as a bidder.

However, in the terms I see this statement...

"The domain will transfer to me in 1 week or less after auction close unless reclaimed by the original registrant (in which case, I am entitled to a full refund)."

That certainly doesn't seem fair to a potential buyer. :)

    Regards,

    Wyatt

You can find some real gems at tdnam I've gotten a few there myself.

I don't think that applies to offer/conter auctions where you are buying from the owner.

I have bought a couple and never had a problem.
