Bank account and Paypal...help please

Hi just got a new bank account so i decided to withdraw some money from my paypal account.

when i added the bank account, it said that paypal will deposit few cents in my bank account and i would have to tell paypal those amounts for confirmation.

How long will that take? Also, i withdrew money from paypal to bank account and it says that the transfer has been completed but i didn't receive the money? is this because my bank account is not confirmed yet? will i get paid later?

aaaah...i just realized that i entered the bank account number incorrectly and it says that paypal has already sent the money to my account. what does that mean? where did the money go? the bank account number is wrong so it should not go anywhere? will i get my money back?

help please.

 

If you entered the wrong account number and provided that there is no such account number (and that your bank do proactive checks), you should get the money back to your account within 14 days. At which time, you would be charged a fee as penalty.

Some banks in the US as indicated earlier does not check account name and will receive payments if the account number is valid. If that is your case, you probably would not see your money. There is no way to ask for a refund in which case.

Make sure that you check your account numbers to see that it is perfectly accurate to avoid such problems.

 

the incorrect bank account number was actually my account number+the check number. thus i don't believe that such an account should exist.

 

If that is the case, you will get your money back in due time.

just be patient. you may can contact the admin. try to looking for that your creditcard or your debitcard is succesfully added

Not sure what you're trying to say buddy... However, for the OP; it took 5 days last time I had this issue for the funds to be returned to my account. As you might now, the OboPay preloaded MasterCard program was canceled last month. I made some transfers to my OboPay account by mistake and had the same scenario play out. You might try calling PayPal and asking for mercy if they asses a fee. Best of luck to you.

 

i called PayPal and they said that the money should be back in your account in few days (monday). I still haven't gotten it.
