I really can't imagine having computer that has to stay in one place. I live in my bus and enjoy working in coffeeshops, so laptop=computer for me.

    Desktop vs. Laptop you mean.
Desktop for me - more powerful, better screen clarity and the ability to be able to replace things like the mouse and keyboard when you get them clogged up with spilt coffee and crumbs.

If I am into Chatting, Blogging, Reading Emails, Listening Music or Watching Movie I am OK with Laptop.... BUT if I am into Programming, Designing, Video Editing and Audio Editing then I will go for my super duper Desktop... :D

I'd only use a laptop on the go, not at home. At home I will use my much more powerful desktop.

Actually I need a new laptop for taking to university, and work when I get this job...

It's nice having a laptop that I use as a desktop, but it's easy to pick up and take outside or wherever for me to use there.

    Laptop!
