I have reviewed all reversed transactions with "Others" as reason for reversal. I sent polite message to 4 advertisers regarding to all reversed transactions and asked them to give clearly explanation about them. I sent 3 days ago and only one replied me. I'm thinking about took them off and promote other ones instead. In my opinion, if they don't reply my message about reversed transactions, they don't have an honest enough and shouldn't be promoted. I'm thinking about make a list of dishonest advertisers in CJ also. What do you think guys?
So you sent it on Thursday or Friday, and expect a response over the weekend? Give it a week... What kinds of merchants are you promoting? If it's web hosting, be prepared for reversals.
Some dating websites target only certain countries and they will reverse anything that comes outside of their desired locations. I agree with the post above. Give it a few more days. But... be prepared to never hear from some of them. I emailed 3 advertisers about 2 weeks ago... Nothing.
Yeah, I'm prepared for reversal for this kind of product. I don't mind because it can happen everytime in this easy to fraud industry. However, it's really unfair for not to explain clearly in each and every reversed transactions to publishers. "Others" is explain nothing. I have made 10 sales for one advertiser, only 1 were reversed with clearly explanation since the first day they reversed me. I've been paid from another one advertisers with 0% reversal rates while never paid from one advertisers with 100% reversal rate. I'm promoting the same product to the same people. How can be so different between each of them? How one advertiser never reversed my transactions while the other ones keep reversed all the sales I made? Is this possible that they just reversed because they don't want to pay commission and keep saying "Others" as reason for reversed transactions? Even customer never fraud or ask for money back.
I had an upsetting experience like this on a $140 commission for a 1st class airplane ticket. No email, no reply after I contacted the advertiser; I was eventually told it was a "duplicate" commissions!
I haven't had any reversals using bluehost on CJ. They've been credited and even credited me for some completions that I knew happened from clients I referred through the affiliate link. actually, come to think of it i have not had any chargebacks on CJ. I would say I know ForexClub has been terrible as a few blog readers of mine have signed up and were enjoying it. i rec'd nothing and didn't get a response from their contact. that said, I think no responding to emails is a big red flag. if they're not already making money for you, might be wise just to consider alternatives.
I just send them message again. If they keep silence then it's a bad sign. I'm going to promote other one instead of "2 red flags" advertisers, whom reversed me in total of $500 without explanation.
