I'm looking for a vps/dedicated server and find their price cheap 512mb ram unmetered 10gb harddisk space for only 10.95 per month can you oversell a vps since you have a guaranteed ram? thanks
I have been looking into their option as well. Though its a DA hosting but I think its quite good. One of my friend is hosting there and so far there was no downtime. And nah @overselling.
With regards to RAM, it depends on the Virtualization technology. 'Guaranteed RAM' could be a lie, or it may not be, it depends. E.G. Xen and UML support Guaranteed RAM, where it is allocated in user space. Personally, $10.95 is too cheap for half a gigabyte of RAM. Diskspace is justifiable, as we have 2 x 1 TB Disks so 10GB isn't much. Jay
that's what I feel also... and when I checked the whois Expiration Date: 2009-03-02 Creation Date: 2008-03-02 another red flag for me... maybe it's a change of name so i'd like to get more feedback before trying out their service
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=682422 See that thread - not all great comments. Try their speed test file, we only get 70 KB/s to the UK (2 Mbits port), and 234.43 KB/s to the US (100 MBits Port). Not good in my opinion. Jay
I have a server from them right now and so far no downtime in March. They answered the support tickets in less than 24 hours and they are friendly. Give them a try.
Can you PM me the link to it when you do? Anyway, I think I am going to go ahead and order from VPSSell.com and see what I think.
Sure. Talk to someone in the live-chat if you have any question, you'll see they are pretty friendly.
If you are looking for a good VPS at a reasonable price then I would recommend Cameron NetXServers.com
I am pretty much sure they're overselling. It's not feasible to offer the resources that they do at their prices without overselling.
vpssell.com and .net are hostingspace4u i know this for fact and they have been down for 2 days now while hostingspace4u.com and .net are up from a very dissatisfied customer mayur/mdshah/host4u/hostingspace4u and how ever many other names you have i will be leaving posts like this every where i am not in the slightest bit happy with you 2 days ago you told me 24 hours yesterday in msn you completely ignored me and told another customer 24 hours so i suggest you tell all your customers the truth about what is going on you told me if it all went belly up i would get a refund and you told the customer yesterday no refunds possible i also found a post yesterday about you moving back to atjeu so get back to all your customers over 7 servers and let them all knw what is going on
I just bought one great VPS service from this thread : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=806436
